Egypt's Health, Petroleum, and Labour Ministers are monitoring the aftermath of an offshore accident late Tuesday involving the Adam Marine 12 drillship near Gebel El Zeit in the Gulf of Suez.
Twenty-seven ambulances were dispatched 20 to the site and seven to El Gouna Airport. Four injured were airlifted, and 18 others were transported by road to El Gouna Hospital, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
Authorities have raised alert levels across Red Sea health facilities as rescue and monitoring operations continue. Updates will follow as the situation develops.
