A "random" stabbing attack that took place at a Walmart store in Michigan, US, on Saturday has left 11 people injured.
The suspect, a 42-year-old state resident, has been taken into custody following the incident.
Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea stated, "We believe he acted alone at this time. There is no information indicating there were additional suspects." He added, "It appears that these were all random acts. Eleven is too many, but thank God it wasn't more."
The weapon used appeared to be a folding-style knife, with witnesses describing the scene as "something out of the movies."
Investigations are still ongoing.
