Five soldiers were shot yesterday at the Fort Stewart base in the US state of Georgia, officials say.
The suspect, who is also a sergeant attached to the Fort Stewart base where the shooting happened, is in custody and being questioned by investigators.
All five soldiers injured in the incident are in a stable condition.
The base was placed into lockdown until the suspect was detained. Authorities were alerted to the incident at 10.56 local time.
