A number of commercial establishments have been shut down in the Southern Governorate for violating Public Roads Occupancy Law.
Violations that come under the law include cafés placing tables and chairs on the sidewalks, shops displaying goods outside their designated area or street vendors occupying public spaces causing inconvenience to pedestrians and road users .
