Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel met today with a group of Saudi students at various Australian universities during a visit to Monash University in Melbourne, one of the world’s leading educational institutions.
The minister met with students from different academic disciplines, stressing their important role as ambassadors for the Kingdom amid the ambitious transformation under the Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant society and provide world-class services across multiple sectors.
AlJalajel highlighted the Human Capability Development Program, which aims to prepare students for global competition by equipping them with essential and future skills, transferring international best practices in education and training, aligning academic outcomes with the needs of local and global labour markets, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The meeting underscored the leadership’s commitment to investing in human capital, as thousands of Saudi students continue their postgraduate studies abroad under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.
This gathering marked the conclusion of the minister’s official visit to Melbourne. He will next travel to Canberra to continue his program to strengthen Saudi-Australian cooperation in sustainable healthcare.
