Oman is offering scholarships to international students, including Pakistani nationals, fully funded by the Omani Programme for Cultural and Scientific Co-operation.
The scholarship allows students to pursue bachelor's degrees in engineering, humanities, information technology, and sciences (excluding medicine) at leading private education institutions across Oman.
The benefits include a full tuition fee waiver, one round-trip air ticket per academic year, and the choice of up to three universities and two academic majors. If housing is not provided, then students will receive a monthly allowance of OMR 200 (BD196). However, if housing is provided, they will still receive OMR 140 (BD137) per month.
Eligible applicants must be Pakistani nationals, aged 23 or younger, with an intermediate or equivalent qualification (Grade 12) achieved within the last three years. They must be medically fit.
The programme requires an Equivalency Certificate from Oman's Ministry of Education for all applications.
Required documents needed for application include a valid passport, academic certificates, the Omani equivalency certificate, and, if available, English language proficiency results. All submissions must be completed in English with specified file limits (2MB for PDFs, 1MB for images), and no special characters in the filename.
The application process requires candidates to apply directly to the Omani universities before 25 August 2025 whilst also sharing their details with the Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat (parepmuscat@mofa.gov.pk).
