A teacher has been provisionally detained after she allegedly assaulted an eight-year-old female student at a private school, the Public Prosecution has said.
According to reports, the young girl was violently restrained within the school premises, with the teacher dragging her across the ground with one arm and deliberately obstructing her movement in front of other students .
