Madinah, SPA - The Islamic University in Madinah approved the inclusion of an artificial-intelligence (AI) course as a university requirement for all new students beginning in the academic year 1447H.
The initiative aims to keep pace with technological advancements and equip students with essential knowledge and skills in AI and its diverse applications. The university seeks to prepare national cadres capable of meeting labour market demands and fostering opportunities for innovation and creativity across academic and professional fields.
The adoption of the course comes within the university’s strategy to support digital transformation and align its educational programmes with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the future needs of the labour market.
