A total of 3,180 tonnes of waste was removed from Block 955 in Hafira as a part of a large-scale cleaning campaign organised by the Southern Municipality.
The campaign was conducted in co-operation with Urbaser Bahrain cleaning company during which tonnes of waste was removed from the site to reduce environmental pollution resulting from its accumulation .
