An Egyptian man has been sentenced to two years in prison with hard labour and deportation after he was found guilty of blackmailing his friend's wife in Kuwait.
The man was convicted of betraying his friend's trust and stealing his Facebook account. He then used the account to blackmail and threaten his wife in exchange for illicit benefits.
The cybercrime division proved he was behind the account, which led to his conviction.
