A passenger opened the door of a Saudia flight while it was taxiing at London Heathrow Airport, triggering the emergency slide and delaying the flight for four hours.
The Jeddah-bound flight was interrupted, forcing passengers to disembark and the plane to be taken out of service for safety checks.
The passenger, who is believed to be suffering from a health condition, was restrained and detained after his action.
Arrangements were made for other passengers to continue their journey, and a later flight departed to Jeddah once the situation was resolved.
The incident remains under investigation.
