Newly appointed International Civil Defence Organisation secretary general Arguj Kalantarli received Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to United Nations Office in Geneva Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, at the organisation’s headquarters.
He commended Bahrain’s efforts in supporting humanitarian work and promoting international co-operation in civil defence and risk reduction, noting the kingdom’s commitment to initiatives that enhance Bahrain’s ability to face disasters and protect lives and property .
