Kuwait's Criminal Court sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to 14 years in prison for murdering an Asian domestic maid.
According to court reports, the man beat the woman to death, and then buried the body in the garden of his home.
The court convicted the man after he was initially sent for a psychiatric evaluation to assess his mental state.
The man's father, brother, and wife were also sentenced to one year in prison with hard labour for covering up the crime and failing to report it.
