Royal Oman Police arrested four Asian nationals on charges of robbery after they stormed a gold shop in Muscat.
The four men robbed the store in the Wilayat of Seeb at gunpoint, threatened and assaulted the employees, and stole gold jewellery valued at RO150,000 and cash. The perpetrators fled the scene.
The investigation team collected forensic evidence and fingerprints at the crime scene. Security camera footage revealed the suspects were travelling in a vehicle with a stolen number plate.
Authorities managed to track down and apprehend the perpetrators, recovering all stolen property.
