BAHRAIN yesterday congratulated Egypt after its candidate Dr Khaled El Enany was elected director-general of the Unesco.
“This historic achievement reflects the international community’s appreciation for Egypt’s wise foreign policy under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, as well as for the country’s role in promoting peace and advancing the values of cultural and civilisational dialogue,” said a Foreign Ministry statement .
