General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Alalshikh unveiled details of the opening parade for Riyadh Season 2025, to be held Friday, October 10, between Kingdom Arena and Boulevard World. The parade will feature international shows and giant balloons from New York City, marking their first appearance outside the United States.
Alalshikh said the parade will present roving artistic and performance acts by international and local troupes, along with giant balloons and well-known characters appearing for the first time in the Kingdom. Entry will be free, offering visitors a vibrant experience filled with live shows and colour across Riyadh's sky.
He added that each giant balloon requires hundreds of handlers due to its size and precise craftsmanship, making them among the parade’s most striking elements.
The chairman noted that the parade underscores Riyadh Season's status as a leading entertainment destination and a regional benchmark for event quality and interactive experiences, combining local creativity with global showcases and further cementing Riyadh’s place on the international entertainment map.
