KINGFISH, popularly known as channad, will be back on the menu this week as a two-month ban on catching, selling and displaying the species for sale ends on Wednesday, it has been announced.The ban that started on August 15 was aimed at protecting the species during its spawning season, said the Supreme Council for Environment in a statement yesterday .
