Heavy to moderate rain swept across several parts of the UAE, with Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah among the emirates affected as unstable weather continued across the country.

Videos of camels and donkeys enjoying the showers circulated on social media as wadis overflowed across the emirates.
The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has alerted that the country will experience cloudy skies, gusty winds, and intermittent showers until October 14, bringing cooler and more pleasant temperatures.

Authorities have advised residents to avoid visiting wadis, valleys, and other flood-prone areas. The NCM also issued a precautionary alert for motorists, urging them to steer clear of locations prone to flash flooding and water accumulation.
