A search has been launched for a person who fell overboard after a boat allegedly engaged in illegal shrimping collided with a Coastguard patrol boat, the Interior Ministry announced.
It said that the Coastguard patrols were carrying out security duties in the Fasht Al Adham area when a boat was detected engaging in shrimp fishing using prohibited equipment .
