HORSERACING – RASHID Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) announced yesterday that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Arabian Horse Equestrian Services as supporting partner of the Bahrain Jockey Foundation (BJF).
This is part of REHC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with public and private institutions and enhance horseracing in the kingdom.
The agreement was signed by BJF acting director at REHC Mohammed Al Nema and Arabian Horse Equestrian Services CEO Hassan Al Madhoob.
Under the agreement, Arabian Horse Equestrian Services will provide safety equipment and supplies for Bahraini jockeys and trainers.
Al Nema highlighted the importance of this partnership, noting that it builds on previous co-operation between both entities in supporting the equestrian and horseracing sectors. It will also enable the BJF to benefit from the expertise and capabilities of Arabian Horse Equestrian Services in the equestrian field.
He further expressed his appreciation to Arabian Horse Equestrian Services for its commitment to this partnership and praised its ongoing role in enhancing REHC’s various events and races.
For his part, Al Madhoob emphasised that the partnership reflects Arabian Horse Equestrian Services’ dedication to the development of equestrian and horseracing in the kingdom.
He noted that the agreement aims to achieve shared objectives in advancing equestrian sports in Bahrain.
Al Madhoob also underscored the role of the BJF in advancing horseracing in the kingdom through specialised training programmes designed to qualify and prepare Bahraini jockeys.
