MOTORSPORT – BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, continues to ramp up the excitement ahead of the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, with only one week to go for the World Endurance Championship’s (WEC) highly anticipated 2025 season-finale.
The seven-day countdown begins today to when BIC opens its gates to fans for the Le Mans-inspired endurance racing spectacle, taking place on Friday and Saturday next weekend in Sakhir.
Race-goers can expect plenty of world-class motor racing action, headlined by the WEC’s packed grid of Hypercars and LMGT3 contenders, and supported by the region’s leading one-make championship, the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East.
Off the track, BIC has lined up a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. These attractions have been put together in signature BIC style, with so much to see and do over the course of the two days at this year’s WEC weekend.
All of this is included in the ticket price, and fans wishing to be a part of this year’s event can purchase their grandstand tickets today at just BD5.5 for adults and BD2.75 for children for the two days. Tickets can be bought online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000. Fans are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible due to high demand, especially with the WEC’s growing popularity amongst motor racing fans both from Bahrain and worldwide.
Hospitality packages are also available to enjoy the event from BIC’s luxurious suites. These are priced at BD290 per person, excluding VAT, for the two days.
Meanwhile, a unique offering exclusive to the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain awaits race fans, as they will be able to enjoy unparalleled access with BIC’s Open Paddock experience, which is open to all ticket holders.
The Open Paddock is unique to Bahrain’s WEC event, and it is an initiative that must be taken advantage of as it is rarely available to the public at the highest levels of international motorsport.
Aside from getting to watch the high-octane action from BIC’s grandstands, race-goers will have the opportunity to go and see what goes on behind the scenes in the heart of the WEC Paddock. This is where the participating teams’ buildings are located to accommodate the series’ star drivers and team members while at the circuit.
The Paddock is also from where the teams have direct access to their garages, so fans will more than likely bump into the WEC’s biggest talents as they make their way around the facility all throughout the race weekend.
