New rules in Saudi Arabia now ban food trucks from operating in residential areas.
The new regulations are part of a sweeping set of reforms aimed at enhancing public safety and reducing traffic disruptions nationwide.
The regulations also ban food trucks from operating in high-traffic areas, such as traffic signals, road intersections, entrances and exits of main roads, or within 10 metres of a gas station.
