National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday received a delegation from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) Parliamentary Assembly, led by Lord Lancaster, member of the United Kingdom’s House of Lords and chair of the assembly’s defence and security committee.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser underlined the long-standing relations between Bahrain and Nato, and the importance of enhancing strategic partnerships with other countries and international organisations, in a way that supports joint efforts aimed at advancing regional and international security and laying the foundations of stability and peace in the region .
