Moroni - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) concluded its volunteer medical project for tumour and gland surgery in Moroni, the Union of the Comoros.
The project runs from November 15 to 22 with the participation of 15 volunteers from various medical specialities, in cooperation with Al Balsam Association for Training and Health Development.
During the campaign, the KSrelief volunteer medical team examined 86 patients and performed 57 specialised surgeries, all of which were successfully completed.
The project is an extension of the volunteer medical initiatives provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief in many countries in need, to support low-income individuals and families.
