Legal measures have been taken against nine social media accounts that have been found to have allegedly violated the law.
The Interior Ministry announced that the Anti-Cyber Crimes Directorate of the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security had taken the necessary measures following monitoring of content that ‘attempted to incite discord and hatred among citizens, in a manner that threatened civil peace’ .
