His Majesty King Hamad departed for Egypt on a private visit, during which he will meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, to discuss historical ties between the two countries.
The leaders will also discuss the latest regional and international developments.
The King was bid farewell by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, National Guard Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the King's Personal Representative Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and senior officials.
