BADMINTON – AHMED Al Jallad and Adnan Ebrahim were crowned champions of the men’s doubles elite category in the Guidetech-The Indian Club Open Badminton Tournament 2026, which was played at The Indian Club premises in Manama.
Al Jallad and Ebrahim secured first place ahead of runners-up Togi Mathew and Jisham Kunju Mohamed, while sharing third place were the pairings of Mathew Kanjirakat Cherian and Nadeem Nahaz and Sebastain Nobin and Akhil R.
The men’s doubles elite event was one of 18 divisions in the week-long tournament, which also featured action in women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and masters doubles.
Around 300 top players from across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia took part in the competition, generating over 400 entries and more than 250 matches.
The Indian Club’s executive committee extended their gratitude to all the players, sponsors, organising team members, and supporters.
The tournament was title-sponsored by Guidetech Trading WLL, with Valueline Trading WLL serving as the main sponsor. The event was further supported by Silver Star Logistics, Eram Floors WLL, Indian Delights, and Al Hilal Hospital.
