His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Nabeel Khaled Kanoo, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister outlined that Bahrain’s continued achievements are underpinned by the longstanding partnership and commitments between the public and private sectors, representing Team Bahrain, in advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation and expanding opportunities in support of economic growth, competitiveness, and sustainable development.
His Royal Highness noted that collaboration between government entities and the private sector is a key pillar in enhancing the national economy, its competitiveness, and delivering sustainable growth.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also noted that greater cooperation between the public and private sectors is critical in order to advance development efforts, capitalise on promising opportunities, and build on the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the private sector’s role as a key partner in development, reiterating efforts to continue empowering the sector and enhancing its contribution across vital sectors to support economic prosperity, strengthen Bahrain’s competitiveness, and secure national aspirations.
For his part, the Chairman of the BCCI expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s unwavering support for the private sector and efforts to strengthen its role in contributing to the Kingdom’s economic development and prosperity.
The Chairman of the BCCI also expressed his appreciation for the Government’s steadfast support and the measures undertaken in response to the hostile Iranian aggression against the Kingdom. The Chairman further commended the Government’s ongoing efforts to foster a conducive business environment that supports economic growth and strengthens the partnership between the public and private sectors, contributing to the achievement of far-reaching national goals and aspirations.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, also attended the meeting.
