Hot weather in Bahrain has pushed fish prices up due to a decline in supply, many fishermen said.
The rising cost of fishing trips and the small quantities of fish caught are affecting the prices, they added, pointing out reliance on imported shrimp, mainly from Saudi Arabia, due to the insufficiency of the local stock.
