A couple went ahead with their wedding ceremony in waist-deep floodwaters at a church in Hagonoy, the Philippines, on Tuesday.
Leian Lieza Galang and Gilbert Chico chose not to reschedule despite official flood warnings, after heavier-than-usual seasonal monsoon rains had left the church partially submerged for nearly a month.
The bride had her wedding gown train shortened to navigate the inundated aisle, while parish staff used a portable speaker to conduct the service following a power outage.
