The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain strongly condemns the terrorist bombing which targeted a police checkpoint in Quetta, Pakistan, killing and injuring tens of people including a number of policemen.
The ministry extends its profound condolences and sincere consolation to the Pakistani government, families and relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to those wounded in this terrorist act which aims to shake world security and peace.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that Bahrain stands with Pakistan in its war against terrorism and supports its efforts to underpin security and peace.
It reiterates the unyielding strong position of Bahrain in rejection of all sorts of violence, extremism and terrorism and asserts the need for joint efforts to eliminate this dangerous epidemic and dry out its source of funds.
