Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of Julian Wynter as the new chief executive officer for its business in the UAE.
With an international career spanning over 30 years, Wynter brings a wealth of banking and audit experience to the UAE, having led the Bank’s Malaysia and Japan business as CEO and having held several senior management roles in audit, a statement said.
Wynter was most recently group head of Internal Audit reporting directly to the Group CEO providing independent assurance to the management and the Board on the effectiveness of the systems and controls within the Bank.
