A NEW page for Cassation Court verdicts has been launched on the official Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) website.
The launch was announced yesterday at a ceremony held at the SJC General Secretariat building, located in the Diplomatic Area.
Various senior officials attended the ceremony, including Cassation Court chairman and SJC deputy president Abdulla Al Buainain.
The page aims to enhance the community’s confidence in judicial decisions, while also spreading legal and judicial culture by facilitating studies on the principles of the court’s verdicts.
It also provides lawyers easy access to the latest verdicts issued by the court.
“(We are keen to establish this page) as to achieve together our vision, mission and our noble goals, and deepen co-operation with all the partners of the Council,” Mr Al Buainain said in his opening speech.
“(It is also) to confirm our commitment to moving forward confidently in achieving the judiciary strategy of continuous development and improving the efficiency of judicial work.”
