MANAMA: A trio of exhibitions, the Northern Gulf’s largest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, property and interiors sectors, concluded with a strong visitor turnout from businessmen, decision makers, government officials to construction specialists, decision makers and professionals seeking latest technologies, services and products.
Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, the Gulf Construction Expo, Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo, saw more than 8,000 unique visitors.
The three-day event saw the participation of more than 160 local, regional and international exhibitors from more than 30 countries, headed by 12 national pavilions.
Exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the show in terms of the strategic position it holds and the importance of the role it plays in promoting the partnerships between local and international companies which drives sustainability, according to Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the organiser.
The exhibition offered huge business opportunities for its participants and exhibitors said besides garnering good brand and product exposure, they generated solid leads and prospects, which are expected to lead to firm orders.
Saudi companies taking part at Gulf Construction Expo 2018 included Espac, Rezayat Protective Coating, Plastbau Arabia, Fabco Plastic Factory, Bonar Natpet, Izomaks, Smart Wood Trading, Arabian Tile, Shade Technology, Resa-Gulf Scaffolding, Gulf Seal, Sehar Al Riyadh Trading & Contracting, Arabian Building Support & Rehabilitation and Rafee Metal Industrial Factory.
They offered a diverse product range of building and construction materials.
These includes steel pipes, waterproof membranes, wooden awnings, geo-textiles, laser steel doors, thermal insulations, renders and plasters.
“The strong presence of companies from Saudi Arabia was a positive testimony to the value that Gulf Construction Expo provides for building materials and construction companies around the GCC. The competition that these companies provide, adds to the competitive atmosphere that the visitors experienced,” said HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman.
“Saudi companies, without support from any government entities, have taken a dynamic approach to build on their existing business strategy and to promote themselves outside the kingdom. We are delighted to see this strategy taking into account the business proposition that Gulf Construction Expo provides to its exhibitors,” added Mr Abdulrahman.
Gulf Construction Expo carried the strategic sponsorship of Haji Hassan Group of Companies and Kavalani and Sons; in addition, sector sponsors were Amna Insulations (Green Technology) and Al Nisr Aluminium (Doors and Shutter).
The show was supported by the Chartered Institute of Building and PHD Chambers India.
The Gulf Property Show showcased the latest real estate and property developments in Bahrain including Al Bareh, Al Naseem, Deerat Al Oyoun, The Harbour Row and Marassi Al Bahrain.
Diyar Al Muharraq, Eagle Hills, GFH Properties, Manara Developments and Metropolitan Holding were all strategic sponsors of Gulf Property Show.
This unprecedented level of support by the kingdom’s leading developers was supplemented by Diamond Sponsors Al Maawdah Group and the Gold Sponsor is First Bahrain Real Estate Development.
The importance of the Gulf Property Show for the real estate in Bahrain was further emphasised with the attendance of the Land and Survey Bureau, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and the Urban Planning and Development Authority.
The Gulf Property Show hosted leading developers and realtors from around the world. Visitors to the show were also be able to look at real estate investments in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, London and Manchester.
These major cities provide exciting returns for real estate investors.
“The Gulf Property Show has grown year on year in size and prestige since its debut in 2014. This year’s record turnout is evidence from the real estate sector of the value of the show as a must attend show,” said Mr Abdulrahman.
