Riyadh: Bahrain TV actress Amira Mohammed is planning to take part in the 2021 edition of the King Abdulaziz Camels Festival in Saudi Arabia.
The organisers have opened the doors for women from GCC countries to compete in the festival alongside men.
“I will be the first Bahraini woman to take part in the festival next year and compete with Al Daghither and Al Dabbous,” she said on the sidelines of her visit to the 4th edition of the festival which aims to preserve a long-standing heritage which went down the generations.
The Bahraini actress is known for her great passion for horses and camels and keenness on attending equestrian events. She's even trained to ride horses.
Many Arab and European delegations are visiting the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, Al Riyadh newspaper reported.
