Bahrain1 Racing team has achieved a new victory, the second in a row this season, in the NHRA E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
The race, the third of 12 events in the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, was staged at Charlotte, North Carolina.
Stevie Jackson won in 5.685 seconds past a final-round quad that also included Brandon Snider, Jeffery Barker and Mike Castellana.
His Majesty King Hamad’s personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed Bahrain1 team’s latest victory and its lead in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
The triumph was possible thanks to the generous patronage and unlimited support of His Majesty as well as the encouragement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, Shaikh Abdulla said.
Bahrain1 now have a strong reputation and a distinguished position in car racing worldwide, and boasts a history of achievements and accomplishments in various championships and international participations, he added.
Shaikh Abdulla said the victory is the outcome of the training and readiness and the high competence of the team members, he said, highlighting Jackson’s victory in the final-round quad at zMAX Dragway.
The achievement by Jackson and Jeffrey Parker in the final race of the third round will motivate the team to continue progressing towards achieving the World Championship for the third year, he said.
Shaikh Abdullah praised the efforts of Bahrain 1 team members and their keenness to succeed in the upcoming races, wishing the drivers success in thier bid to clinch titles for Bahrain.
Bahrain 1 team crew said the victories confirm the success in implementing the team’s strategy aimed at achieving the World Championship this season.
