His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, has affirmed the Interior Ministry’s vital role in safeguarding the security and safety of Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he hosted an Iftar banquet for senior officers and officials of the Interior Ministry at the Public Security Officers’ Club yesterday.
Upon arrival, he was received by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
He commended the Interior Ministry’s ongoing development across its various directorates, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister highlighted that security is the foundation of development and progress, made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Interior Ministry, in collaboration with the kingdom’s security agencies. He commended the ministry’s commitment to enhancing its security and policing capabilities while improving services for citizens.
He expressed his appreciation to the Interior Minister and all ministry personnel for their contributions to strengthening the kingdom’s security.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the importance of continuously advancing the ministry’s services and adopting the latest technologies to enhance Bahrain’s security and achieve national aspirations.
General Shaikh Rashid expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s recognition of Bahrain’s security forces’ efforts. He commended his commitment to enhancing the progress and readiness of the kingdom’s security personnel, as part of the comprehensive development, led by the King.
He also emphasised the ministry’s commitment to implementing Bahrain’s ambitious programmes that aim to address various challenges and uphold the kingdom’s security.
HRH Prince Salman was accompanied by Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials also attended the Iftar banquet.
