Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday received Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, in the presence of Chief of Police Lt-Gen Tariq Al Hassan.
The minister praised the BDF’s high level of preparedness, combat readiness and efficiency in safeguarding the kingdom and addressing the repercussions of the blatant Iranian aggression. Gen Shaikh Rashid highlighted the BDF’s national role and responsibilities under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
They reviewed areas of co-operation and co-ordination between the BDF and the ministry in support of maintaining security and stability.
