KABADDI – FEARLESS Fighters were crowned champions of the inaugural Champions Kabaddi League (CKL), held at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
Fearless Fighters secured the season one title after defeating Gulf Titan by a commanding 27-8 scoreline in the tournament final.
The victors delivered an outstanding all-round performance, showcasing exceptional raiding, solid defensive coordination, and remarkable teamwork to secure their crown.
Gulf Titan displayed determination and fighting spirit, finishing as worthy runners-up after an impressive campaign.
Following the title-decider, a grand closing and awarding ceremony was held, graced by Bangladesh Ambassador to Bahrain Md Rais Hasan Sarower, ndc, who attended as the chief guest.
Also on hand were Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF) and Bahrain Kabaddi Committee (BKC) advisory board chairman Mohammad Mansoor, BCF and BKC president Sami Ali, and CKL commissioner, Asian Kabaddi Federation technical director, and Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India referee board chairman Dr Kuldeep Kumar Gupta.
The competition was organised by Yellow Paint International Media Services managing director and CKL founder Hitesh Sikka, with his partner Rajat Sehgal and co-founder Jagdeep Pal Singh, in collaboration with the BKC, setting a new benchmark for the promotion of kabaddi in the kingdom.
CKL organisers reaffirmed their commitment to making the championship an annual event that will continue to attract top talent, promote youth development, and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for kabaddi.
