Talal Al Sayed defeated Lucas McLoughlin 6-3, 6-2 to win the boys’ under-12 singles title in the 10th Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Open Juniors Tennis Championship at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) courts in Juffair.
The match was witnessed by Bahrain Tennis Association president Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, BTC chairman Khamis Al Muqla and Dr Faisal Al Mousawi.
The under-18 girls’ final will be held on the concluding day of the championship today when Hajar Zaidan takes on Ira Coral. In the boys’ under-14 final, Bahrain’s Ahmed Al Sayed will play India’s Rayan Ahmed.
The tournament, which started on January 14, saw the participation of over 200 players who competed in seven competitions for both boys and girls.
