Parliament is likely to hold an extraordinary session on January 9 to discuss several pending proposals and vote on them before their referral to the government, Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
Discussions will focus mainly on issues related to the budget to provide the government with a clear view about the MPs’ visions before a draft law is submitted to it, financial and economic affairs committee chairman Ahmed Al Salloom said.
