Bahrain's football-loving expatriate community is rallying around the national team for their highly anticipated showdown with Oman tonight in the final of the 26th Gulf Cup in Kuwait.
The match is scheduled for a 7:30pm kick-off at the 60,000-capacity Jaber International Stadium in Kuwait City, and has generated massive interest with supporters from both nations, including citizens and residents.
Tickets allocated for Bahrain supporters and seats on specially chartered flights sold out in minutes, with excitement reaching its peak ahead of the big game.
GDN Media caught up with a number of expatriate fans who were eager to share their messages of support and encouragement for Bahrain’s football stars.
