National Guard president Major General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa has inaugurated the second phase of the National Guard Medical Complex. The opening coincides with the celebrations of the 28th anniversary of the National Guard’s establishment.
Gen Shaikh Mohammed unveiled the plaque marking the inauguration and commencement of operations at the facility before touring its sections and receiving a briefing on the latest developments.
The launch of this phase is part of the National Guard’s development strategy to enhance healthcare services for its personnel. The complex features expanded outpatient and emergency facilities, specialised clinics in orthopaedics, ENT, dentistry, a modern physiotherapy unit and advanced medical technologies for 24/7 emergency care.
Gen Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the Guard’s advancement under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
He highlighted that opening is a strategic step to strengthen medical preparedness, provide-quality healthcare and support operational readiness.
The complex showcases advanced development, built to high standards and equipped with modern medical technology. It highlights the Guard’s dedication to improving support services, boosting readiness, and fulfilling its national mission, he said.
