The search is on for the owner of a falcon that was found at a house in A’ali on Saturday evening.
The house owner alerted officers at the Al Khamis Police station, who informed Bahrain Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA).
Society chairman Mahmood Faraj arranged for the bird to be handed to a falconer, until the owner is identified.
“The problem is the bird wasn’t found with a ring on its leg,” Mr Faraj told the GDN. “Without the ring, it’s difficult to know who the owner is, and we are now looking for them.”
Anyone with information on the bird may call Mr Faraj on 39955001.
