The Cabinet yesterday extended its congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the National Guard’s establishment.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the weekly meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Cabinet highlighted the National Guard’s vital role in carrying out national duties, praising its personnel’s combat readiness.
The National Guard was established on January 7.
