A total of 743 complaints, requests and enquiries were received by the Capital Governorate last year, with many communication channels set up to promote flexibility and speed up interaction with citizens and residents.
According to the governorate, 231 of those requests were sent through Inquiries and Complaints Office, 70 cases were raised during weekly majlis sessions, 52 were highlighted on social media and the remaining 390 reports came through the government’s suggestions and complaints system Tawasul.

Field visits were intensified last year
Inquiries and Complaints head Salman Al Shaikh said 48 per cent of reports were service-related and 46pc were social cases. He added that field visits were intensified over the past year with 45 locations visited to assess the needs of citizens and residents.
Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa reaffirmed his dedication to promoting interaction with residents to meet their needs, provide better living conditions and achieve sustainable development.
