Bahrain could witness light to moderate rains on Sunday.
The Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry announced that forecasts indicate a low-pressure system early next week, accompanied by a cold air mass.
This is expected to create favourable conditions for rain clouds, with rainfall likely to begin later on Sunday, January 12, and continue until midnight. The intensity is expected to range from light to moderate.
The Kingdom experienced a low-pressure system in the upper atmospheric layers yesterday (Wednesday) and early today (Thursday), resulting in light and scattered rain in some areas, with thunderstorm cells forming over northern maritime regions.
The directorate advises citizens and residents to exercise caution and stay updated with issued forecasts and warnings.
