His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a telephone call from US Vice President Kamala Harris, and discussed strong bilateral relations as well as ways to enhance co-operation across various domains.
Vice President Harris emphasised that Bahrain is an important strategic partner, contributing significantly to regional security, stability and peace.
His Majesty highlighted the two nations’ longstanding friendship, “which is founded on understanding and working together to accomplish common goals at all levels”.
He also thanked the Vice President for her efforts in strengthening the Bahrain-US partnership.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also received a call from the US Vice President.
She expressed her appreciation for Bahrain’s role in ensuring regional security, stability and peace under the leadership of His Majesty.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the enduring strength of relations between the two countries.
He also expressed his gratitude to Vice President Harris for her efforts in bolstering the Bahrain-US partnership.
