Bahrain experienced scattered rain in some parts this evening with thunder and strong winds reaching up to 25 knots lasting until midnight.
Temperatures ranged from 15C to 20C, with a maximum humidity of 90 per cent.
The rain followed what was a foggy morning, which saw limited visibility in certain parts of the country.
Although no rain has been forecast for Monday, strong winds are expected to persist, with temperatures expected to reach as low as 13C with a maximum of 20C.
Tuesday is expected to get even cooler with an estimated temperature of between 12C and 19C.
The Transportation and Telecommunication Ministry has urged people to follow any instructions that may be issued by the authorities in order to ensure their safety.
