Counsellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, President of the Constitutional Court, received Muhsin Şentürk, Chief Public Prosecutor of Türkiye, and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Bahrain.
The visit aims to further develop judicial cooperation between the two countries, exchange expertise, and gain insight into Bahrain’s legislative and constitutional experience.
During the meeting, an overview of the Constitutional Court was provided, highlighting its establishment in 2002 as part of the comprehensive development initiative led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The meeting also discussed the court’s jurisdiction over constitutional disputes related to laws and regulations, its procedural framework, and the rulings and decisions it has issued.
On his part, The Turkish Attorney General commended the advanced judicial procedures and constitutional guarantees adopted by the Constitutional Court, noting their adherence to the highest international standards and practices.
